About the role

We are seeking an Event and Video Conferencing (VC) Engineer to support the day-to-day operations of event management systems and video conferencing endpoints.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain meeting room conferencing system, inclusive of supporting audio visual devices such as room control system, video switchers, ceiling mics

• Understand simple system design concept and interpret the ideas to customers

• Support and troubleshoot Teams room system (MTR) system, firmware patches, OS patches

• Negotiate or advice customer for event setup manners

• Troubleshoot system independently

About you

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering or IT with minimum 2 years of system integration experience is preferred

• Relevant Audio-Visual certifications from Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC, Shure or Sennheiser

• Experience with live event support especially hybrid type event

• Experience with video conferencing platform management and troubleshooting (WebEx, Zoom, Microsoft Teams)

• Experience with vendor support to resolve issues and replace defective/broken products in a timely manner

• Proven Teams Room system (MTR) troubleshooting skills

• Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment with a flexible mindset

• Good to have SIP phone, Teams phone knowledge.
