We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Engineer Cum Quantity Surveyor - Oil & Gas Projects to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage and oversee construction projects within the Oil & Gas sector, ensuring compliance with specifications, safety standards, and project schedules. This role requires a strong technical background in civil engineering to deliver projects successfully.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate day-to-day construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
Develop and implement project schedules, coordinating manpower, machinery, and materials to meet deadlines.
Prepare cost estimates, variation orders, as-built drawings, and other project documentation in accordance with client requirements.
Monitor project budgets, progress claims, and cost control measures to ensure financial performance aligns with projections.
Evaluate subcontractor claims, prepare payment certifications, and manage procurement processes including quotations and supplier evaluations.
Collaborate with the planning team to track project milestones and ensure timely delivery of materials.
Liaise with clients, consultants, authorities, and stakeholders on technical, commercial, and site matters.
Prepare and submit progress reports and monthly claims to clients, ensuring follow-up on approvals.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for site activities, project records, and financial data.
Support the Project Manager and commercial team in strategic planning, decision-making, and project execution.
Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, recognized by the Singapore Professional Engineers Board (PEB).
Minimum 3 years of relevant local experience in oil & gas projects.
Experience with underground utilities or similar site works is advantageous.
Strong skills in project coordination and site supervision with a practical, hands-on approach.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, clients, and consultants.
Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving ability with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with project management tools.
Knowledge of local regulatory approvals and compliance processes is an advantage.
Preferably possess a valid Class 3 license.

Work Schedule: 6-day work week.
Location: Office at No. 3 Sungei Kadut Drive, Singapore 729556 (North Singapore)
