About the Role

We are hiring R&D Fab Technicians to support semiconductor R&D and advanced packaging activities. The role involves operating and maintaining fab equipment, supporting engineering lots, reviewing process or measurement data, troubleshooting equipment issues, and working closely with engineers to ensure smooth tool performance and process stability.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and support fab process equipment such as dry module, lithography, inspection or metrology tools

• Support production lots, engineering lots, DOE runs and process qualification activities

• Perform equipment setup, daily checks, basic calibration, preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting

• Monitor equipment status, handle alarms and support machine recovery when required

• Review process or measurement data and highlight abnormalities to engineers

• Maintain accurate equipment logs, SPC charts, measurement reports and shift handover records

• Support new tool installation, qualification and process improvement activities

• Follow cleanroom procedures, SOP, PPE, safety and EHS requirements

Requirements

• Nitec / Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics / Chemical / Materials or related)

• Experience in chemical handling

• 1 to 5 years of semiconductor fab, advanced packaging, R&D, pilot line or NPI experience will be an advantage

• Experience in dry module, lithography, inspection, metrology, wafer handling, MES or SPC will be highly preferred

• Candidates with cleanroom or manufacturing equipment troubleshooting experience may also be considered

• Able to follow detailed procedures and work in a fast-paced R&D / production environment

• 12-hour shift / rotating shift may be required
