About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous QA/QC Inspector specialising in Semiconductor and Electronic Components to join our team. This is a full-time position based in the North-East Region, operating on a 5-day working week.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the highest quality standards for our semiconductor and electronic components manufacturing processes. As a QA/QC Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting rigorous inspections, testing, and quality control measures to ensure all products meet stringent industry specifications and customer requirements. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will directly impact our reputation for delivering superior quality products.

Key responsibilities

• Perform incoming and outgoing inspection of semiconductor and electronic components.

• Conduct visual inspection using microscope and inspection tools such as digital calliper and multimeter.

• Check component markings, labels, part numbers, date codes, and specifications against datasheets and company records.

• Read and understand manufacturer datasheets to verify component information.

• Identify defects, discrepancies, or quality issues during inspection and prepare inspection reports.

• Perform bin checks, relabelling, and repackaging of components according to company procedures.

• Ensure proper handling of small electronic components during inspection to prevent damage.

• Maintain accurate inspection records and support other QC activities assigned by Supervisor.

What we're looking for

• GCE O Level or NITEC in any qualification

• Experience in QC inspection, semiconductor, or electronic components industry is preferred.

• Experience using microscope and inspection tools such as a caliper, multimeter, or similar equipment.

• Able to read and understand electronic component datasheets, labels, and markings.

• Understanding to read technical information and inspection instructions.

• Good attention to detail with good dexterity and hand-eye coordination when handling small components.

• Able to work well in a team and follow quality procedures.

• Basic salary up to $2k - $3k + Overtime
