About the role

We are seeking a QA Technician to join our team at Heraeus Materials Singapore Pte Ltd in Ang Mo Kio. This 1-year contract role will be responsible for ensuring the high quality and safety standards of our operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• To run on rotating shift work to support daily operational function for in-process quality check of flux, paste, powder and wire.

• Checking of CTQs like viscosity, metal content, water content, acid number, halide content, oxygen & carbon content, PSD, spark alloy composition, diameter measurement, etc.

• Wire inspection based on failure catalog during wire production.

• Perform simple application test like Thinky, dispensing and printing assessment.

• Accurate data recording into excels, MES & SAP system.

• Release PO for shipment, ensure product label is correct according to customer specific requirements.

• Create additional COA required by customer.

• Create barcode scan checking required by customer.

• Perform incoming quality check for raw materials, metal alloys, metal powders and flux.

• Checking of CTQs like FTIR, viscosity, water content, acid number, appearance, oxygen content, PSD, etc.

• Ensure supplier COA is available, check against specifications and upload into SAP system.

• Perform outgoing check according to failure catalog before shipment.

• Data entry into SQCpack software for SPC monitoring and alert Engineers for any out-of-control data points.

• Scanning quality worksheets for data archiving and ensure traceability.

• Support engineers for ad-hoc testing.

• Perform 5S at work area, including 5S of documentation (scan PO & worksheet), sample storage fridge & freezer (scrap samples after expiry date).

Job Requirement:

• Min O level or above

• At least 2 years relevant working experience in laboratory.

• Experience in viscometer, titrator, oxygen analyzer is advantageous.

• Knowledge in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Environmental Management System (EMS)

• 1 year contract role and convertible to permanent subject to performance and business needs
