About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and energetic team player to join our Operations team in Singapore, overseeing day-to-day operations of our mall. This role will report to the Operations Manager.
Main Responsibilities:
Carry out general maintenance and repair works, including painting, plumbing, air-conditioning servicing, electrical repairs, and upkeep of fixtures and equipment to support smooth daily operations
Conduct hands-on routine inspections, monitoring, and preventive maintenance of building services, machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure optimal performance and compliance with operational standards and ensure other building services are functioning efficiently at all times
Report any security concerns, defects, or asset irregularities promptly
Maintain accurate documentation and records of maintenance works, inspections, incidents, and service reports
Attend promptly to system breakdowns, tenant feedback, and service requests, ensuring timely resolution and a high standard of service delivery
Coordinate and liaise with internal stakeholders, contractors, service providers, statutory authorities, and tenants on maintenance, repair, and renovation works
Supervise, inspect, and verify works carried out by contractors to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with approved specifications and procedures
Perform daily mall opening and closing procedures in accordance with established operational protocols
Provide operational support for mall events, including setup and coordination of stage, audio, and related equipment
Adhere strictly to all workplace safety procedures, operational guidelines, and emergency response protocols
Support emergency response activities and assist in evacuation procedures during emergencies
Carry out any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the immediate supervisor, Manager, or management
Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience in building repair and maintenance, plumbing, aircon servicing, and M&E systems
Experience in shopping mall or retail environment will be an added advantage
Possess basic computer literacy skills
Minimum Nitec in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
Possess good troubleshooting skills with the ability to carry out minor repairs and resolve technical faults effectively
Able to work under tight timelines while demonstrating resourcefulness and a systematic approach to problem-solving
