Our Unmanned & Integrated Systems business offers holistic solutions in system engineering and integration. We pioneer maritime robotics and autonomy solutions, provide system integration for complex naval and island air defence System-of-Systems (SoS), and take care of the operation and maintenance of Command, Control, Communications, Computers Intelligence (C4I) systems. We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Software Development Manager to lead a team of software engineers in designing, developing, and delivering high-quality enterprise applications. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in programming with proven leadership skills, ensuring successful project execution, team growth, and alignment with business goals.

Technical Leadership

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, high-performance Java-based applications.

• Define architecture standards and best practices (microservices, APIs).

• Provide hands-on technical guidance and code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.

• Evaluate and recommend new tools, frameworks, and technologies.

Team Management

• Manage, mentor, and coach a team of software engineers.

• Drive hiring, onboarding, and performance management.

Project & Delivery Management

• Plan, prioritize, and oversee development projects to meet deadlines and business objectives.

• Ensure high standards of code quality, testing, and security compliance.

• Oversee CI/CD pipelines

• Manage production support, incident resolution, and performance optimization.

Qualities We Value

• Knowledge in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 8+ years of software development experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.

• Strong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot, Spring Framework) and related ecosystems.

• Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems.

• Experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL).

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)

• Experience in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Knowledge of DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, CI/CD pipelines).

• Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).

• Exposure to front-end technologies (React, Angular) is a plus.

• Exposure to C and C# is a plus
