Assembly Technician - 2 years contract - #1161275

Job Description

• Assemble, repair, and test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic equipment

• Interpret work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, and parts lists to ensure accurate assembly

• Troubleshoot and repair assemblies, subassemblies, and individual components

• Inspect and audit incoming parts to verify completeness and quality standards

• Operate test fixtures, measurement instruments, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps for diagnostics and validation

• Maintain accurate job documentation, including data entry, progress updates, and labor tracking

• Perform basic programming, software installation, or repair tasks when required

• Work independently while providing guidance and informal mentorship to junior team members

Requirements & Key Information

• Education: Minimum NITEC or Diploma

• Experience: 2–4 years of experience in the semiconductor or related high-tech manufacturing industry

• Skills: Strong troubleshooting and analytical capabilities

Work Environment & Conditions

• Hands-on technical role in a cleanroom environment

• Physically demanding (extended standing, lifting, and working in confined spaces)

• Must be comfortable using PPE and handling technical equipment/tools

Additional Notes

• Employment Type: Contract (up to 24 months)

• Work location will be assigned (SOC / CNC / TIC); candidates cannot select placement
