Lead and oversee procurement operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and supporting the development of a high-performing procurement team.
Develop and maintain a robust supplier network for electronic components, including supplier identification, evaluation, qualification, and performance management.
Formulate and implement category sourcing, procurement, and inventory management strategies to support business and project requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain teams, to achieve project objectives related to cost, quality, delivery, and supply continuity.
Drive supplier negotiations, cost optimization initiatives, and value engineering programs to support overall business performance.
Monitor market trends, industry developments, and supply chain risks, and develop appropriate mitigation strategies to address potential disruptions.
Establish, review, and continuously improve procurement policies, procedures, and standard operating processes to enhance operational efficiency and governance.
Analyze procurement data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify improvement opportunities and support decision-making.
Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth procurement operations and issue resolution.
Ensure compliance with company policies, relevant regulations, and quality management requirements.
Support business growth initiatives and undertake other procurement-related projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
At least 3 years of experience in procurement management, strategic sourcing, supply chain management, or a related function.
Experience in electronic component procurement and supplier management will be advantageous.
Familiarity with quality management systems, including automotive industry standards such as IATF 16949, will be an advantage.
Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier development, contract negotiation, inventory management, and cost optimization practices.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to evaluate market conditions and procurement risks.
Demonstrated leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the organization.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ERP/MRP systems.
Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
