Job Purpose
Lead full-cycle HR operations and key initiatives for the Singapore branch, ensure compliance with Singapore labor laws and company policies. Support HR initiatives across Asia Pacific to drive regional HR initiatives and continuous improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee end-to-end employee lifecycle (recruitment, onboarding, probation, transfer, promotion, offboarding) in Singapore, and support for SEA countries HR key follow up initiatives.
Maintain employee records and HR database with strict confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
Manage payroll, attendance, leave, CPF contribution, and IR8A submission; coordinate payroll and employee working visa in Singapore.
Administer employee benefits and resolve benefits-related inquiries.
Support performance management, employee engagement, team building, and employee relations.
Handle work pass applications, renewals, and cancellations for foreign employees in compliance with MOM rules.
Support APAC countries on talent acquisition, payroll, work pass coordination, and other HR projects.
Prepare and submit HR reports regularly. Coordinate with headquarters and regional branches for alignment.
Continuously drive continuous improvement based on existing processes, SOPs, HR templates, make sure full compliance with country regulations and improve working efficiencies.
Provide general administrative support and assist with ad-hoc tasks where necessary.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin or related; professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, HRBP) a plus.
Minimum 5 years of HR experience; freight forwarding/logistics industry experience and/or Office administration experience is a plus.
Excellent communication skills. This role may require communication with stakeholders from China, Europe, SEA.
Deep knowledge of Singapore labor laws, CPF, work pass, and payroll compliance, regional or cross country experience is a plus.
Proven track record in full-cycle HR operations and office administration.
Proficient in MS Office and HRMS; high confidentiality and integrity.
Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills, proactive, detail-oriented, independent and flexibility.
