About the role

We are seeking a skilled Accountant (Manufacturing) to join STAFFKING PTE LTD on a full-time basis. This role is based in the North Region and offers a competitive salary of $4,000 - $5,000 per month with a 5-day work week. As an Accountant specialising in manufacturing, you will play a crucial role in managing financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting the company's strategic objectives through robust accounting practices. This position is essential to maintaining the integrity of our financial records and providing valuable insights to support business decisions within our manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing

• Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, including reconciliations

• Support budgeting exercises and cash flow forecasting

• Assist in the preparation and submission of statutory financial accounts

• Handle GST reporting, tax schedules, and support annual audit processes

• Prepare bank reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and fixed asset registers

• Monitor cash flow and assist in budgeting and forecasting activities

• Manage intercompany transactions and balance confirmations

• Prepare XBRL financial statements and coordinate with corporate secretary for ACRA filings

• Maintain proper accounting records in compliance with accounting standards and company policies

• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, suppliers, and internal stakeholders

• Support project accounting, including project costing, subcontractor claims, and progress billing

• Assist in improving processes and strengthening internal controls

• Supervise and guide junior accounting staff when required

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience (full set accounts preferred)

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)

• Experience in handling month-end and year-end closing processes

• Proficient in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation

• Familiar with budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and management reporting

• Experience in GST submission, tax schedules, and audit coordination

• Familiar with XBRL financial reporting and ACRA filing requirements

• Experience in project accounting (costing, progress billing, subcontractor claims) is an advantage

• Strong attention to detail, organized, and able to meet deadlines

• Good communication skills and able to liaise with auditors, banks, and internal stakeholders

• Able to work independently and handle multiple priorities
