What You’ll Be Doing:

• Collect, study, and review comprehensive tender documents (specifications, drawings, and technical requirements) to ensure 100% completeness.

• Coordinate with technical departments to build accurate cost estimates, carry out material take-offs, and estimate man-hours.

• Source and compile competitive quotes from both local and overseas vendors for materials, equipment, and subcontracting services.

• Liaise with internal departments on commercial items like insurance cover and site establishment costs (indirect costs).

• Attend site visits and clarification meetings with customers, and prepare vital supporting data for management during the final negotiation stages.

• Assist Project Managers with variations and progress claims, and handle the seamless post-contract transfer of documents and subcontracts.

What We Are Looking For:

• At least a Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction, or Civil Engineering.

• Min of 5 years of relevant working experience within the local construction industry and preferably with HDB project experience

• Ability to compile unit rates and construction equipment costs with precision.

• A proactive communicator who can bridge the gap between vendors, technical teams, and senior management.
