Job Scope for Safety Coordinator (WSHC) :

• Check site daily for safety hazards.

• Ensure workers follow safety rules and use PPE.

• Assist in risk assessments and accident investigations.

• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.

• Keep safety records and support audits.

• Help prepare emergency plans and drills.

In essence: Monitor site safety, train workers, keep records, and support the Safety Officer.

Job Scope for Safety Officer (WSHO) :

• Ensure site safety rules and MOM regulations are followed.

• Conduct risk assessments, inspections, and approve permits for high-risk work.

• Investigate accidents and recommend preventive measures.

• Lead toolbox talks, safety briefings, and worker training.

• Maintain safety records and submit reports to authorities.

• Prepare emergency response plans and coordinate drills.

In essence: Keep the site safe, prevent accidents, train workers, and ensure compliance with safety laws.
