Occupational Therapist (OT) collaborates with other healthcare professionals to assess and support the clients to develop individualised rehabilitation plans that aim to remediate and/or maintain activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living at home and in the community.
Clinical Duties
On top of the Senior OT grade I duty, staff is required to perform the following;
Synergize resource to enhance clinical innovation, clinical program evidence-based practice
Evaluate and conclude current practice and workflow through audit, project- reporting, incidents, and rehab advancement for future development
Leading clinical improvement for CQI and develop clinical policy
Promote, coordinate & synergize research studies (inter and intra profession)
Lead service vision and strategy
Represent OT in national forums
Administrative Duties
On top of Senior OT grade I duties, staff is required to perform the following:
Source out for funding to support clinical advancement
Develop and maintain different system and work process to enhance the communication and coordination among staffs and teams.
Renew and update audit process
Introduce and establish measures to enhance efficiency and work safety
Advance all audit functions
Overseeing all individual staff training plans to ensure skill development flow.
Develop and maintain mentoring system
Set up training standard to all levels to ensure staff competency
Enable our staff to accessible to excellent training and knowledge both from local and overseas
Enable staff specialization and skill specialize
Strategic planning, workforce and policy development
Education and Training
On top of Senior OT grade I duties, staff is required to perform the following:
Overseeing all individual staff training plans to ensure skill development flow.
Develop and maintain mentoring system
Build capability and capacity for service excellence
Enable our staff to accessible to excellent training and knowledge both from local and overseas
Enable staff specialization and skill specialize
To ensure proper training materials and schedules done for TA (for OT components) and OT training. Collaborate with Principal PT for task.

Vision setting for OT services
Business Development
Lead business strategy
Drive enterprise level growth
Build alliances and cross-sector services
Required Education and Experience
Master/Bachelor/Diploma in Occupational Therapy, recognized by the Singapore Allied Health Professional Council (AHPC).
Registered with AHPC and holding valid practicing certificate from AHPC.
BCLS and AED Certificate
Relevant Post Graduate qualification is desirable
12 years and above years’ experience relevant experience in hospital or nursing home setting of Senior OT grade I and equip with specialized clinical skill with commendable track record from program, research, services or academic development.
Relevant community and aged care experience would be desirable.
National recognition or publication
Executive level leadership training
Microsoft office full suite, internet savvy
Interest in geriatric and gerontology discipline.
Other essential traits/skills:
Ability to think critically, and be innovative in creating/ modifying intervention techniques to suit the individual needs of clients.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Good leadership skills
Ability to work well under pressure.
Ability to work flexibly as part of a team.
Able to work without supervision
Mentorship experience
Awareness of current professional, healthcare, and ageing issues and keep abreast with up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices and physical therapy programs.
