About the role

Responsible for planning, controlling and managing variation of the construction projects from a structural perspective ensuring that they meet requirements as well as regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Check design discrepancies between Structural and architectural drawings

• Check formwork and reinforcement

• Follow-up on amendments on drawings and execution of variation works such as additions and modifications

• Co-ordinate with the Project Team, Consultants and Sub Contractors for work progress

• Prepare documents, reports and co-ordinate site operations

• Communicates and maintains public relations with relevant parties like Client's representative, local authorities, communities and the general public

• Prepare or compile site progress reports

• Ensure all site activities comply with the authority/statutory requirements

• Enforce safe work practices at workplace

About you

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Building Construction (recognized by BCA)

• Possess BCA supervisors' safety certification

• At least 2 years of experience in a Project Engineer role within the construction industry
