• Remuneration Package: Up to SGD 9,500 (basic salary)

• Bonuses: Eligible for Annual Wage Supplement (AWS) and performance-based variable bonus (for permanent role)

• Requirements: Professionals with experience in financial analysis and reporting, preferably within government or public-sector organisations

This role plays a key part in financial planning, analysis, reporting, and governance. The successful candidate will provide timely financial insights, ensure strong budgetary control, and contribute to continuous improvement and digitalisation of finance processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage monthly financial reporting, including management reports, trend analysis, cashflow dashboards, and income & expenditure statements.

• Conduct detailed financial and variance analysis across revenue, operating expenditure (OPEX), and capital expenditure (CAPEX), and monitor budgets against approved allocations.

• Support annual budgeting and forecasting cycles by consolidating inputs, validating assumptions, and preparing analysis and presentation materials.

• Maintain accurate financial records, support month-end closing activities, and ensure compliance with internal financial policies and governance frameworks.

• Coordinate and support internal and external audit activities, including audit documentation, responses to queries, and timely closure of audit findings.

• Partner stakeholders by providing financial insights and supporting decision-making through clear reporting and analysis.

• Drive finance process improvement initiatives, including digitalisation and automation, to enhance reporting efficiency, data accuracy, and workflow effectiveness.

• Support ad-hoc finance assignments such as financial modelling, cost analysis, and policy or governance-related reviews as required.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Professional qualifications such as ACCA or CPA are an advantage.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, accounting, or audit.

• Comfortable working hands-on with financial data, reconciliations, and month-end activities.

• Strong numerical and analytical aptitude, with the ability to interpret data and translate it into meaningful insights for stakeholders.

• Technically proficient with spreadsheets, presentation tools, and finance or reporting systems.

• Exposure to business intelligence, automation, or digital finance initiatives would be an added advantage.

• Sound awareness of financial controls, audit requirements, and governance standards.

• Self-motivated and reliable, able to manage multiple priorities and deliver work accurately within deadlines.

• Clear communicator who can work effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
