Senior/ Tender Engineer (Power Transmission) - #1133421

1. Assist in the preparation, submission, and clarification of tenders for utility and private sector projects involving transmission and distribution equipment.

2. Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and tender inquiry documents for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and subcontractors in accordance with project scope and technical requirements.

3. Support timely submission of tender documents in line with tender schedules and requirements.

4. Organize, maintain, and manage tender documentation and records in a structured manner.

5. Consolidate tender-related information and documentation to support ISO audit and compliance requirements.

6. Maintain and update foreign exchange (forex) currency information for tender pricing and cost evaluation purposes.

7. Ensure all tender-related activities comply with the Workplace Safety and Health Act, applicable regulations, and other legal and statutory requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification in engineering or a related discipline.

2. At least two years of experience in tender preparation or project-related engineering work for Executive Engineer positions; experience in the transmission or power industry is preferred.

3. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

4. Demonstrates strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

5. Computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email platforms.

6. Proficient in both written and spoken English. Proficiency in Mandarin is required to support work-related communication and documentation involving Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.

7. Candidates who demonstrate the ability to manage tender preparation independently after completing relevant technical and commercial training may be considered for progression to a senior role.
