Roles & Responsibilities

Analytical Laboratory:

·         Process control (Eg. Production parameter control)

·         Quality control (Eg. Finished goods periodical testing)

·         Familiar with the operations/technique of analytical instruments

·         R&D of new processes on a lab-scale

·         Maintain and control of laboratory analytical and testing records

Process:

·         Perform First-Article testing for new customers or parts, prior to mass production

·         Perform review/gap analysis on customer’s specifications for chemical processes, with adequate process
control measures

·         Involve in quality issues investigations, troubleshooting, root cause analysis and corrective action implementation

·         Lead investigations for recovery action on any non-conformity

·         Control of chemical logistics for entirety of production

Waste-water treatment plant (WTP):

·         Manage and maintain WTP at optimum system performance for treatment of chemical waste

·         Troubleshoot WTP system issues when waste discharge is non-compliant to Trade Effluent standards

·         All other tasks that might be assigned from time to time

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.

·         2+ years of experience in a chemical processing or manufacturing environment.

·         Strong knowledge of chemical engineering fundamentals, thermodynamics, and reaction engineering.

·         Familiarity with process control systems (e.g., DCS, PLC) is a plus.

·         Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

·         Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.
