Job Summary:
The role of Engineering Manager focuses on lead and inspire a high-performing engineering team, driving the design, development, and delivery of innovative solutions in line with business objectives. You will oversee project execution, mentor engineers, and collaborate cross-functionally with product, operations, and quality teams to ensure excellence in engineering practices. The role requires strategic planning, technical expertise, and strong leadership to foster innovation, optimize processes, and deliver impactful results.
Job Descriptions :
Ensure Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) achieves target performance levels.
Lead the Engineering team to implement improvement initiatives, driving cost savings and productivity enhancements.
Review equipment designs and processes to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Oversee facilities maintenance and troubleshoot equipment to maintain uninterrupted operations.
Identify and recommend initiatives to optimize operational costs.
Provide leadership to Technical, Moulding, Equipment, and Process Engineers, as well as Workplace Safety teams.
Manage and take ownership of in-house and automation machinery, including software development from concept, design, budgeting, testing, commissioning, upgrades, to continuous improvement.
Ensure environmental validation activities meet ISO standards, FDA requirements, and other relevant regulations.
Job Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant Engineering discipline.
Minimum 10 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
At least 5 years of proven experience managing and delivering complex, technology-driven projects.
Strong expertise in automation.
Hands-on experience in automation machine design and PLC programming, with practical knowledge of machining processes including CNC, conventional milling, lathe, and grinding.
Solid understanding of risk and hazard assessment in chemical and/or medical device manufacturing environments.
Proficiency in SolidWorks for mechanical design.
Basic knowledge of PLC and HMI programming platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Keyence, Omron, or similar systems.
