Responsibilities

* Troubleshoot production processes and drive continuous process improvement initiatives.

* Work closely with the Plant Manager to ensure smooth execution of assigned projects.

* Coordinate with the Plant Manager on maintenance activities for plant equipment.

* Ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted plant operations.

* Train and guide operational staff to meet process and safety standards.

* Investigate recurring process deviations and implement effective corrective actions.

* Identify, propose, and implement improvements to plant processes and performance.

* Plan, schedule, and ensure proper execution of plant maintenance activities.

* Liaise with external vendors and contractors as required.

* Support the Plant Manager in verifying equipment integrity following maintenance work.

* Conduct regular plant safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety requirements.

* Execute special projects as instructed by the Deputy Factory Manager.

* Issue and authorize permits-to-work in accordance with safety procedures.

* Conduct operational training in line with the department’s training program.

* Ensure workplace risk assessments are developed, implemented, monitored, communicated, and documented in compliance with WSH (Risk Management) regulations.

* Perform any other duties as assigned by the Deputy Factory Manager.

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.

* Knowledge of instrumentation and process control systems, including PLC and basic programming.

* Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

* Preferably 1–2 years of experience in a process manufacturing environment.
