Experience in metal fabrication / sheet metal fabrication

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret complex customer engineering drawings and specifications (2D/3D).

• Break down customer designs into fabrication-ready components and processes.

• Prepare detailed fabrication drawings, shop drawings, and cutting/bending layouts using SolidWorks / AutoCAD.

• Coordinate with production, welding/fabrication, and QA teams to resolve technical challenges on the shop floor.

• Support manufacturing by providing BOMs, material specifications, and drawing clarifications.

• Conduct design reviews to ensure manufacturability, accuracy, and compliance with customer requirements.

• Assist with workflow optimization and continuous improvement to enhance productivity and reduce rework.

• Maintain proper documentation and drawing control (revision, issuance, and records).

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

• Proven experience in metal fabrication / sheet metal fabrication (e.g., enclosures, frames, brackets, chassis, custom fabricated parts).

• Proficient in SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD (both 2D & 3D preferred).
