Healthcare Assistant (Banyan Home) - #1132594

The duties of a Healthcare Assistant are:

1. Assist non-ambulant and semi-ambulant residents with their toilet needs and mobility

2. Bathe frail residents and those who need assisted showering

3. Shave and cut hair for residents regularly, and trim their fingernails and toenails weekly

4. Supervise and assist residents to wash their hands before each meal

5. Report injured/unwell residents to the Duty Officer and nursing staff; and accompany the residents to hospital and polyclinic for their medical appointments

6. Accompany residents for outings and brisk walk

7.Serve food and drinks to residents at mealtimes and to wash their utensils after meals

8. Clean and disinfect the residents' dormitories and general areas daily

9. Perform any other duties as directed by their supervisor and Duty Officers
