We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented E-Commerce & Merchandising Assistant / Executive to support our growing digital commerce platforms. This role is key to ensuring accurate and efficient order fulfilment, maintaining online product listings, and assisting in digital marketing efforts to enhance brand visibility. You will also play a supporting role in retail technology operations and systems implementation to drive workflow efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily online order processing and coordinate with operations team for packing and dispatch

  • Handle customer enquiries, platform messages, and provide after-sales support for online orders

  • Create and maintain accurate product listings, including photos, descriptions, categories, and pricing updates

  • Ensure product availability and relevance by coordinating with retail/store teams

  • Assist in product photography and content creation for websites and online platforms

  • Write engaging product descriptions and optimise metadata for SEO purposes

  • Support execution of online promotions, flash sales, and digital campaigns (e.g. Shopee, Lazada)

  • Monitor online sales performance and stock levels, and generate basic reports as required

  • Identify keyword trends and recommend improvements to listings, content, or workflows based on data and feedback

  • Provide basic troubleshooting support for eCommerce backend and POS-related issues

  • Assist in the rollout or upgrade of digital systems related to online retail and logistics

 

Key Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Preferably 1–2 years of experience in eCommerce or the retail sector

  • Familiar with eCommerce platforms such as Lazada, Shopee, Magento, Shopify, etc.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Well-organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks accurately

  • Independent, resourceful, and proactive in problem-solving
