Job Description:

Basically, the company is looking for QS that is pursuing a career in growing their skills and experiences together with the company.

Some of the traits, skills and experiences required are as such:

• Attend site show round for site briefing.

• Independently organise and carry out tender which include briefing management on tender background, calling of quotation, taking off quantity, presentation of comparison, quantity to management and finally compiling the tender submission with Contracts Manager guidance.

• Measurement, payment response, and evaluation of VO for the subcontractor.

• Obtaining quotations, liaising and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers. 

• Responsible for measuring quantities and taking off with good accuracy for tender.

• Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, settlement and sub-contractor payments

• All other QS related job

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in the Construction industry. For SQS, minimum of 6 years of Singapore working experience in a main contractor company.

• Proven ability in tender estimate, contract negotiation, contract administration & variation orders

• Able to work independent to estimate and prepare tender submission

• Able to work independently, be meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive, a good team player & able to meet tight deadlines

• Good communication and negotiation skills.
