Senior Project Engineer (Network) (Government Projects) - #1131778

Job Description:

• Support project activities by delivering key project outputs and meeting defined milestones.

• Perform hardware and software installation for turnkey solutions.

• Prepare, review, and execute Statements of Work (SOW).

• Coordinate with external stakeholders and customers to resolve technical issues.

• Participate in System Acceptance Testing alongside vendors and customers.

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical problems as they arise.

• Develop, update, and maintain technical and configuration documentation.

• Create and explain network topology diagrams and related documentation.

• Prepare standard project documentation such as SOWs, system handover documents, inventory lists, and more.

Job Requirements

• Possess Minimum Diploma In Computer Science or equivalent

• At least 3-5 years relevant working experience, primarily in Network

• Has experience in functional areas such as Project Coordination, documentations.

• Experience in government projects

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Strong proficiency in Linux environments (CentOS, SUSE).

• Knowledge of networking technologies (Dell, Cisco), firewalls (Fortinet), and fiber-optic transmission devices.

• Familiarity with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop (HDFS, ZooKeeper), Cloudera, Hue, Apache, ElasticSearch, etc.; hands-on implementation and system maintenance experience is preferred.

• Experience with virtualization platforms is an added advantage.

Please note that this role requires individual to clear CAT1 due to sensitivity (Government projects)
