What You Will Do 


Calibration Responsibilities

  • Collect tools/items from store as required and to retrieve / return calibration due tools from and back to cells

  • Process and inspect tools in the incoming Kanban

  • Perform calibration of in-house fixtures and gauges (tools) using manual method or CMM.

  • Inspect new tools for acceptance based on inspection reports received and to issue new tools to process owners

  • Perform total preventive maintenance on machines as required

  • Maintain the reference equipment calibration as per ISO17025 requirements

  • Maintain tools storage area


Tool Repair / Modification Responsibilities

  • Perform tool repair on tools that are out of dimension

  • Perform troubleshooting / repair on tools that are damaged or nonfunctional

  • Replacement of standard parts on tools that are damaged or nonfunctional

  • Perform modification works on tools or new simple tool fabrication works

  • Any tasks and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor


Qualifications You Must Have 

  • Diploma in Precision Machining / Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in tools repair or calibration.

  • Able to read the technical drawing to perform the calibration

  • Willing to work on rotating shifts (Day & Night) and overtime on need basis.
