POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HSE Executive to support the HSE Manager in implementing and maintaining a robust Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) management system. This role focuses on regulatory compliance, incident management, safety training, and continuous improvement of HSE performance, including regular travel to various operational sites across Singapore and supporting ISO 45001 audit activities.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the HSE Manager in developing, implementing and integrating a coordinated and standardised HSE management system;
Assists in the preparation, coordination, and participation of ISO 45001 internal, external, and certification audits;
Assists in driving continuous improvement of HSE performance and safety culture;
Prepare, update, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and safety manuals in compliance with regulatory requirements, customer standards, and company objectives;
Ensure HSE systems and procedures are properly implemented and adhered to in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements;
Support the implementation and continuous review of the Company’s HSE Manual and related documentation;
Promote and implement best HSE practices across all operations;
Participate in the investigation of accidents, incidents, and near-miss reports, recommending corrective and preventive actions;
Plan, organize, and conduct HSE training programs and awareness initiatives for employees and contractors;
Proactively intervene in unsafe acts, conditions, or operations and recommend corrective measures.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B) is mandatory;
Degree in Environmental Health and Safety Engineering / Diploma in Chemical Process or equivalent, or WSQ Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health (Level C) is preferred;
Minimum 2 years of HSE-related experience with knowledge of local statutory requirements and HSE standards; experience in manufacturing or oil & gas industry is an advantage.
DESIRED PROFILE
Willing and able to travel to various operational sites across Singapore as part of daily duties;
Familiarity with ISO 45001 clauses, audit processes, and corrective action management;
Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks;
Strong facilitation, analytical and problem-solving skills;
Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
Proficient in MS Office (words, excel, PowerPoint);
Meticulous, self-motivated.
