The Opportunity

We are actively seeking dedicated Freelance Special Needs Educators to join our growing network. This is a unique opportunity to work flexibly, set your own schedule, and provide invaluable personalized teaching to students with diverse learning needs, ranging from preschool to secondary school levels, in their own homes. You can choose assignments that fit your teaching skills and are close to home

Attractive Incentives and Rewards

• Highest Competitive Pay Rates: We are committed to offering our educators the highest pay rates in the market, recognizing your specialized skills and invaluable contributions. You can expect to earn between $80 - $120 per hour, ensuring your expertise deserves top-tier compensation.

• $30 Joining Bonus: As a token of our appreciation, all qualified Freelance Special Needs Educators with at least 2 years of teaching experience in a Special Education (SPED) school who successfully onboard with NIVAA will receive a $30 joining bonus. Please note that this joining bonus is not stackable with the Referral Programme.

• Referral Programme: Do you know other exceptional Special Needs Educators who would thrive in a freelance, home-based setting? Refer them to NIVAA and get rewarded up to $80 if they are successfully hired!

• Recognition & Excellence Bonuses: We believe in acknowledging outstanding dedication and impact. Educators will receive special incentives for achieving commendations from parents and for consistently demonstrating excellence.

• Specialized Assignment Incentives: Beyond our competitive base rates, you'll have opportunities to earn additional bonuses for specific assignments. These incentives are tied to factors like the complexity of the student's needs, specialized skill requirements, or unique logistical considerations, ensuring your efforts are always well-rewarded.

• Performance-Based Session Bonuses: Earn additional cash incentives based on the volume of sessions you complete in each half of the month, with higher bonuses for more sessions.

• Educator of the Month Recognition: Be celebrated for your dedication! Our top-performing educator each month, based on the highest number of completed sessions, will receive a special bonus.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalized, one-on-one teaching to special needs students in their homes across Singapore.

• Utilize engaging and effective teaching methodologies to address various learning styles.

• Regularly assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt strategies as required.

• Communicate effectively and professionally with parents/guardians regarding student progress and needs.

• Maintain accurate records of teaching sessions and student development.

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum of 2 years of direct teaching experience with students with special needs.

• Relevant qualifications in Special Education, Psychology, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.

• Proven ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and families.

• Empathy, patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs.

• Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual home learning environments.
