Project Executive - #1131531

Support the planning, coordination and execution of Building Management System (BMS) or Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) projects, from planning, installation through testing & commissioning, maintenance / handover. This role suits an engineer with some site experience who is ready to take ownership of work packages while being guided by senior engineers / PMs.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Coordination & Planning: Assist in planning and sequencing BMS/ELV works to meet overall project schedule.

• Technical, Design & Maintenance Support: Study drawings, specifications and methods statements to understand scope and technical requirements; Assist in review of drawings, point lists, schematics and panel layouts; coordinate with suppliers on product data, material submittals and technical clarification; Provide day-to-day technical support for BMS operations, assist in preventive maintenance activities and respond to corrective maintenance requests.

• Site Supervision & Installation: Supervise subcontractors or in-house technicians in installation, ensure it follows approved drawings, standards and safety requirements; Perform routine site checks, record work progress and report issues promptly to Senior PE / PM.

•  Testing & Commissioning: Support pre-commissioning and commissioning of BMS/ELV systems; Assist in functional checks, point to point testing, loop checks and integration tests with other systems.

•  Documentation & Handover: Prepare test reports, checklists, defect lists and simple method statement as required; Assist in compiling manuals, configuration backups and training materials for client handover; Support end-user training sessions

Job Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Building Services or related disciplines.

• Understanding of control systems and ELV concepts (sensors/actuators, controllers, I/O, TCP/IP, BACnet/Modbus, etc.).

• Proficient in MS Office; basic AutoCAD / BIM viewer skills are a plus.

• Strong sense of responsibility and willingness to learn

• Good communication skills to deal with subcontractors and internal teams

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in BMS/ELV/M&E projects

• Familiarity with at least one of the following systems is an advantage: BMS/BAS, CCTV, Intrusion Detection
