Cleanroom BIM/CAD Drafter - #1130871
Cleantec Engineering (S) Pte Ltd
About Cleantec Engineering
Cleantec Engineering is a specialized manufacturer and turnkey provider of cleanroom solutions. We manage the full construction scope—from architectural finishes to complex HVAC and electrical systems. Because we utilize our own in-house installation manpower, we rely on high-precision modeling to ensure seamless execution on-site without delays or spatial conflicts.
The Role
We are seeking a skilled CAD/BIM Modeler to join our design team. You will be responsible for creating the digital blueprints of our cleanroom projects. This includes developing detailed 2D shop drawings for site use and 3D BIM models for cross-discipline coordination. You will ensure that our manufactured equipment and system layouts are perfectly aligned before construction begins.
Key Responsibilities
2D Drafting (AutoCAD): Prepare precise architectural and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) shop drawings, floor plans, and sections for on-site installation teams.
3D Modeling (Revit): Develop detailed BIM models specifically for cleanroom environments, incorporating cleanroom panels, ceilings, and specialized equipment.
Clash Detection & Coordination: Identify and resolve spatial conflicts between electrical conduits, ducting, piping, and structural elements using Navisworks or Revit.
Equipment Design: Create and maintain a library of CAD/BIM blocks for our manufactured products (e.g., Fan Filter Units, Air Showers, Pass Boxes).
As-Built Documentation: Update drawings and models based on site modifications to ensure final "As-Built" submissions are 100% accurate.
Standardization: Ensure all drawings adhere to company standards and specific cleanroom ISO requirements.
Requirements
Software Mastery: Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D) and Autodesk Revit (3D) is mandatory.
Experience: Experience in modeling, ideally focusing on industrial facilities, laboratories, or cleanroom projects.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of MEP coordination and the ability to read complex engineering schematics.
Detail Oriented: High level of accuracy in dimensioning and spatial layout to minimize wastage during physical installation.
Industry Background: Previous experience in the cleanroom, semiconductor, or pharmaceutical construction industry is a significant advantage.
Why Join Cleantec Engineering?
End-to-End Involvement: See your models go from the screen to the factory floor to a completed high-tech facility.
Specialized Expertise: Gain deep technical knowledge in the high-growth cleanroom technology sector.
Collaborative Environment: Work directly with our engineers and installation teams in a fast-paced, turnkey setting.
