Role Responsibilities

  • Assume full operational responsibility for the factory when the Factory Manager is not present.

  • Oversee and guide Production Supervisors and Line Leaders, ensuring effective leadership, motivation, and performance management across all production teams.

  • Strategic planning and management of the 12-hour rotating shift schedules (morning and night), including coverage for weekends and public holidays, to meet operational demands.

  • Direct and verify that robust training and coaching programs for new Operators and Line Leaders are in place and executed effectively.

  • Ensure the entire production operation consistently achieves daily output and efficiency targets.

  • Lead Continuous Improvement activities across the factory to significantly enhance productivity, product quality, and workplace safety.

  • Enforce adherence to all established work procedures, equipment handling protocols, and quality standards across all production lines.

  • Maintain absolute adherence to safety, GMP, and quality policies across the entire facility at all times. Responsible for coordinating general waste collection and managing the recycling of pallets and paper bags.

  • Oversee and audit the process of product sample collection according to quality and laboratory requirements.

  • Ensure all production records and data entries in Navision are verified, completed accurately, and submitted on time by the supervisory team.

  • Champion and sustain the highest standards of housekeeping and 5S across all work and general areas.

  • Possess and ensure the supervisory team maintains in-depth knowledge of all machinery and equipment used in batching, dumping, and packing processes.

  • Plan, oversee, and optimize maintenance schedules and activities, including basic maintenance and minor repairs performed by Line Leaders, to actively minimize production downtime.

  • Manage and resolve major technical issues and equipment abnormalities, supporting first-level troubleshooting teams and escalating only when necessary to engineering or management.

    Requirements:

  • Diploma or equivalent in food / industrial engineering background

  • Dynamic, team leader with a positive working attitude

  • Good written communication with internal and external stakeholders

  • Bilingual in English & Mandarin communication due to multi-nationalities working environment
