E&I Technician (Chemical/Oil&Gas/West Area) - #1129425

• Carry out preventive maintenance of electrical equipment (Motor, Variable Speed Drive, Switchgear etc.) and process instruments (Transmitters, Control Valves, On-Off Valves, Analyzers, Weighing System, Tank Gauging System etc.) in accordance to maintenance procedure and schedule

• Troubleshoot, repair, install, calibrate and commission electrical and instrumentation equipment.

• Understand and be proficient working with electrical & instrumentation equipment, analyser sample systems and perform all preventive and predictive maintenance on these systems.

• Participate actively in EHSS activities (E.g., H&S Training, Concern Reporting, Safety Risk Assessment (SRA) Review, correction of EHS hazards and unsafe conditions).

• Develop and review job safety risk analysis and maintenance procedures.

• Document and maintain all field observations and activities.

Requirements:

• Preferably with min. 3 years’ relevant work experience in hands on maintenance experience in chemical  or oil and gas industry.

• Hands on experience in E & I, production and commissioning would be an advantage.

• Relevant work experience preferably in the refinery, petrochemical, chemicals additive industry or pharmaceutical industry

• Possess hands-on experience in handling electrical and process instrument.

• Good understanding of safe work practices

• Good analytical & trouble-shooting skills

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Team player

• Good knowledge in electrical & instrument, process control safety standards.
