Senior Technician, Engineering Services - #1128281

Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily inspection and report any defect or irregularity and recommend appropriate rectification plan.

• Supervise the service providers during the servicing/maintenance works and ensure all works are carried out in accordance with works schedule and of satisfactory standard.

• Monitor and ensure all M&E systems are in optimal operational level.

• Attend to all service requests on any breakdown, feedback/complaint from tenants and other building users timely and efficiently till closure.

• Perform troubleshooting and investigate fault with recommendation for rectification.

• Facilitate tenants and contractors in the fitting-out/reinstatement/maintenance works and ensure they comply with the safety standards and building regulations/house rules.

• Supervise and coordinate with contractors on project works and follow through the testing and commissioning, defects rectification works till completion.

• Carry out minor repair works for electrical, sanitary and plumbing and building works.

• Part of Company Emergency Response Team (CERT), assist in table-top exercises and fire evacuation drills.

• Support adherence to OHS regulations and building safety standards by assisting in safety inspections, reporting hazards, and follow through on the corrective actions. Participate in safety training and contribute to a safe working environment for tenants and other building users.

• Any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum Nitec/Higher Nitec in Facility Technology (Mechanical and Electrical Services) or Facilities Management & Engineering or equivalent.

• At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.

• Solid understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques, with sound technical knowledge of M&E building services.

• Strong sense of responsibility and commitment.

• Able to work independently and as part of the team.

•  Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.

• Knowledge in computerised maintenance management system will be preferred.

• Experience in HVAC systems and knowledge in the use of BMS will be required.

Working Hours: 2-week rotating schedule with alternate Saturdays

• Week 1: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Mon to Fri)

• Week 2: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (Mon to Fri)

• Week 3: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM (Mon to Fri)

• Alternate Saturdays: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM (half day)
