Responsibilities:

• Design and engineer solar PV systems in compliance with industry standards and regulatory codes.
• Conduct site assessments for roof layouts, structural integrity, and electrical connection feasibility.
• Develop 3D models and shading analyses using AutoCAD 3D, PVSyst, or similar software.
• Perform component sizing and selection for PV modules, inverters, mounting structures, cabling, and protection devices.
• Prepare PVSyst simulation reports, including energy yield and performance analyses.
• Create Bills of Materials (BOM) and develop cost estimates for proposed PV systems.
• Coordinate with customers and contractors to ensure alignment with project specifications.
• Assist in procurement processes by preparing requisitions, approval documents, and technical details.
• Monitor solar asset performance and support troubleshooting and maintenance activities.

Requirements:

• Min. Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Clean Energy, Renewable Energy, or an equivalent field.
• Knowledge of solar PV system design principles and practices.
• Experience using AutoCAD 3D or similar 3D modeling tools.
• Experience with PVSyst for solar performance simulation and analysis.
• Knowledge of project management is an added advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as a team player.
