About the role

Lian Construction Pte Ltd is seeking a talented Draftsperson to join our dynamic team based in the West Region. As a Draftsperson, you will play a crucial role in the development and delivery of our construction projects, utilising your technical expertise and attention to detail to produce accurate and compliant design drawings. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects, contributing to the growth and success of our company.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D design drawings for civil and structural engineering projects, including site plans, elevations, sections, and detail drawings

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure drawings meet project specifications and regulatory requirements

• Assist in the development and maintenance of design standards, templates, and libraries to streamline the drafting process

• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to improve the quality and efficiency of the design process

• Coordinate with external suppliers and contractors to gather and incorporate relevant information into the design drawings

• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and software to enhance your drafting skills and productivity

What we're looking for

• Diploma or degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar drafting role, preferably in the construction industry

• Proficient in the use of CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM tools

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines

• Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards
