Key Responsibilities
The Team is central to managing cash processing, overseeing payment and receipt functions. This role is critical in facilitating seamless financial operations and requires meticulous attention to detail and strong operational execution.
Specific responsibilities include:
(1) Payment & Settlement Expertise:
I. Execute comprehensive post-trade and cash settlement processes within back-office systems.
II. Process transactions accurately.
(2) Fund Management & Reconciliation:
I. Monitor and process incoming funds, meticulously updating customer ledgers in the back-office system.
II. Efficiently manage and process unidentified funds, promptly reporting third-party incoming funds.
III. Conduct daily reconciliation to ensure reference transactions align to back-office systems records.
IV. Perform daily end-of-day completeness checks and balance reconciliation using Excel templates, escalating any discrepancies or issues without delay.
(3) Operational Support & Compliance:
I. Generate new and reset Pin Mailers as required.
II. Handle deposit and withdrawal requests.
III. Process receipts for trade settlement.
IV. Segregation of customers' monies, compute accurately daily inbound and outbound trust fund movements between customer and house accounts.
(4) Continuous Improvement & Ad-Hoc Duties:
I. Actively participate in User Testing for new products and system enhancements to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
II. Undertake any assigned ad-hoc requests or tasks, demonstrating adaptability and a proactive approach.
