DTL Rolling Stock - Assistant Engineer (Shiftwork) - #1125549

Responsibility

• Lead and support maintenance activities for rolling stock assets (passenger vehicles, engineering trains and depot equipment), ensuring maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with technical standards and operational requirements

• Supervise and support technicians in performing scheduled maintenance, corrective maintenance, and overhauls of rolling stock assets.

• Plan and allocate daily maintenance tasks, ensuring alignment with service schedules and operational requirements.

• Conduct technical assessments and fault investigations; provide guidance to resolve complex technical issues.

• Review and verify maintenance documentation, reports, and logs for accuracy and completeness.

• Monitor maintenance activities to ensure quality, safety compliance, and adherence to established procedures.

• Assist in training and mentoring technicians to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.

• Participate in audits, inspections, and both internal and external reviews of maintenance practices.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by superiors.

Requirements

• Recognized diploma in Mechanical or Electrical or Electronic Engineering from local polytechnic.

• Able to perform shift work

• Fresh graduates may apply

• Singaporeans only

• Able to commute to Changi Depot for work.
