Senior/Social Work Coordinator - #1124569

The Senior/ Social Work Coordinator supports the planning, executing and coordinating of programme and service delivery which include assistance to the Medical Social Workers in providing interventions and programmes, and uplifting the professional practice in social work.

Your role

• Responsible for supporting Medical Social Workers (MSW) team in direct patient work, administrative work and general duties

• Manage routine cases assigned by MSWs independently

• Conduct financial assessment on eligibility of applicants for the various financial schemes, e.g Long-Term Care Schemes

• Handle telephone enquires

• Coordinate and assist in running department events and groupwork

• Provide escort to residents when needed e.g. outing

• Any other duties assigned by Reporting Officer

Requirements

• O Level, NITEC/Higher NITEC or Diploma holder with minimum 1 year of experience in healthcare settings especially in Care and Counselling Department is an added advantage

• Certificate in basic counselling skills or related skills will be added advantage

• Good communication and strong interpersonal skills
