Job Purpose:
Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the bakery manufacturing facility. This includes production planning, quality assurance, inventory control, safety compliance, team leadership, and continuous improvement to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality output in line with company goals.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily bakery plant operations to ensure timely production and delivery.
Lead and develop production teams, fostering a safe and collaborative work environment.
Maintain high quality and food safety standards (HACCP, GMP) across all processes.
Manage inventory, equipment maintenance, and overall resource efficiency.
Monitor production KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational or quality issues.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in food manufacturing, ideally in bakery operations.
Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and production standards (HACCP, GMP, ISO).
Excellent problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
Proficient in MS Office; ERP system experience is a plus; able to work under pressure.
