Job Responsibilities

• Perform In-situ primary structure rework not limited to machining, blending, reaming and honing.

• Understand Aircraft & Component OEM repair instructions for given task.

• Good knowledge in material & specification used in accordance with Aircraft & Component OEM repair instructions.

• Possess skill & knowledge operating Lathe & Milling machine for repair part manufacturing.

• Possess skill for OEM Aircraft & Component standard practices for Bearing and Bush replacement.

• Able to work in confined space and height to carry out Aircraft & Component OEN repair instructions.

• Good housekeeping & tool/equipment/machine maintenance practices.

• Good teamwork & able to work independently.

• Good communication skill in English & able to interpret document accurately.

• Operates and maintains lathe and milling machines.

• Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints or samples to ensure accurate production.

• Takes precise measurements for cutting or shaping.

• Selects appropriate machine and setting for a given task.

• Plans proper sequence of tasks to complete the assignment.

• Monitors production, adjusting feed and other settings as necessary.

• Maintains inventory of completed products.

• Checks output for quality assurance and documents or discards defects.

• Identifies need for and performs machine maintenance and minor repairs.

Machinist Qualifications/Skills:

• Excellent coordination and mechanical skills.

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety.

• Solid written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in math.

• Basic computer skills.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks
