We are looking for skilful and passionate individual to apply for the opening of Technical Solution Design Manager.
He/she will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining technology solutions that meet business objectives. They serve as the bridge between business needs and technical implementation, ensuring that proposed systems are scalable, secure, and aligned with the company’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Solution Design
Translate client business requirements into technical specifications, proposals, timelines, and deliverables.
Present and justify recommended technical solutions, highlighting benefits, validation, and improvements.
Design system architecture, strategy, standards, and governance frameworks.
Lead research and development (R&D), proof of concepts, and ensure product compatibility with client needs.
Conduct system evaluations and analysis to identify weaknesses and recommend improvements for growth and performance.
Define technical and functional requirements; provide diagnostic support for prototype development.
Support testing, commissioning, and implementation phases of solutions and prototypes.
Drive innovation by identifying emerging technologies, process improvements, and new business models.
Foster a culture of creativity and innovation within the team.
2. Pre-Sales, Sales, and Post-Sales Activities
Oversee proposal and bid management, including site visits, preparation, and submission.
Manage RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs, and coordinate proposal content and timelines.
Address client queries, conduct presentations, and participate in technical contract negotiations.
Identify technical and commercial risks in proposals.
Source and evaluate vendors, consultants, and partners for tender preparation.
Review and negotiate vendor and subcontractor proposals.
Stay updated on technology trends and integrate innovations into solutions.
Conduct project handover briefings to internal teams and provide technical guidance during transition.
Support procurement, budgeting, and documentation processes.
Regularly identify and report new tender opportunities and prepare business reviews.
Develop operational plans, budgets, manpower forecasts, and training strategies.
3. Business Development
Manage key client relationships to ensure satisfaction and identify growth opportunities.
Support the development of business plans aligned with regional and corporate strategies.
Recommend suitable products and solutions to match client needs and market trends.
Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships to expand into new markets and regions.
Collaborate cross-functionally to turn innovative concepts into marketable offerings and continuously improve services.
4. Training and Development
Coordinate with HR to provide technical and work-related training for staff.
Maintain competency management by tracking skill levels and recommending training plans.
Ensure workload aligns with individual capabilities and strengths.
Develop succession plans and nurture future leaders within the team.
Coach and mentor team members for professional growth and business continuity.
5. Information Security and Safety Management
Promote and enforce information security policies and safety procedures.
Ensure compliance with company SOPs and operational standards.
Maintain high housekeeping and safety standards.
Undertake ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in technical solution design, systems architecture, or solution delivery, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of system integration, solution architecture, and R&D methodologies.
Proficiency in proposal writing, tender management, and client engagement.
Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
Familiarity with cloud solutions, software development, and emerging technologies.
Strong understanding of information security and compliance frameworks.
