Quantity Suveryor cum Purchser - #1120887

Responsibilities:

• Prepare BQ and tender documents, highlight discrepancies in tender documents, and clarify with consultants;

• Source for quotations, select and negotiate for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries, and services;

• Prepare purchase orders, work closely with subcontractors and suppliers;

• Take charge of cost control & planning to ensure spending is within the budget;

• Track project costs throughout construction and monitor expenses against the budget;

• Review and advise the Project Manager on the cost impact for any variation of project specifications;

• Monitor project delivery to ensure compliance with the contractual terms and conditions;

• Attend to site visits and clarification meetings;

• Other duties as assigned by the superior.

Qualification / Experience:

• Candidate should possess a Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying/Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of relevant QS experience

• A candidate with knowledge of Singapore Building & Construction Law and with experience in pre- and post-contract administration will be an added advantage

• Good at self-organising, responsible, and able to multitask

• Fluent in verbal & written communication of both English & Mandarin languages (Role will be required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking customers)

• Attention to detail and independent

• Required skill(s): AutoCad, Microsoft Office & Projects
