QS cum Purchaser - #1119819

Key Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications for underground piping works.

• Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities (BQ), and progress claims.

• Manage contract administration, including variation orders and final accounts.

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for materials, equipment, and services.

• Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials/equipment.

• Liaise with project managers and site teams to monitor budget and cost control.

• Maintain proper documentation for procurement, quotations, and contracts.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or equivalent.

• At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in construction, preferably in underground piping or utilities projects.

• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and cost estimation.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant QS software.

• Good negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
