Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager in the pre-contract or post-contract phases of fast-track projects.
- Pre-contract: Prepare tenders, measurement and Bills of Quantities, evaluate price comparisons, and prepare cost summaries and quotations for both civil and building projects.
- Post-contract: Ensure accurate measurement of quantities to assist in preparing progress payment claims, variation order claims, and payments to subcontractors and suppliers, including all final accounts.
- Maintain proper documentation of site events for Variation Orders and Extension of Time (EOT) claims.
- Work closely with and support the Safety team on initiatives related to Safety and Health.
- Comply with the company’s Safety Management System and all requirements under the Workplace Safety & Health Act (WSHA) and its subsidiary legislation.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or its equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably with a main construction firm.
- Meticulous, analytical, and a good team player with strong problem-solving and time management skills.
- Able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
