Job Summary
The incumbent is required to provide the roadside assistance unit; responsible for diagnosing, repairing and replacing tyres on vehicles that have experienced breakdowns or tyres failures, ensuring safe and efficient recovery for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Respond promptly to roadside tyre emergencies, including punctures, blowouts, and flat tyres.
Diagnose tyre-related issues and carry out repairs or replacement on-site.
Communicate professionally with customers to explain repairs and ensure a high standard of customer service.
Always adhere to health and safety protocols, especially when working on roadside environments.
Always collaborate with the Supervisors effectively.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a tyre fitter or similar automotive role.
Strong knowledge of different tyre types (commercial) and repair procedures is preferred.
With class 3 driving license or class 4 driving license
Ability to work under pressure ad in variable weather conditions.
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and be on-call as required.
Good communication skills and customer-focus attitude.
Required to lift heavy tyres and equipment.
What you will expect in remuneration :
For Recovery Team staff (required to drive 14Ft vehicles) x 2 pax
Working days/hours: Monday to Saturday, 8:30am – 7:30pm
(Additional hours will be considered as overtime)Pay package: Basic + OT + Commission + Incentive
For Mechanic (required to hold at least a Class 3 driving licence for test driving) x 1 pax
Working days/hours: Monday to Saturday, 8:30am – 7:00pm
(Additional hours will be considered as overtime)Pay package: Basic + OT + Transport Allowance
