Key Responsibilities
Fire Safety Management
- Develop, implement, and oversee fire safety policies and procedures for the facility.
- Conduct regular fire risk assessments and fire drills to ensure preparedness.
- Ensure all fire protection systems (alarms, sprinklers, extinguishers) are maintained and compliant with regulations.
- Liaise with local fire authorities and regulatory bodies for inspections and certifications.
- Investigate fire incidents and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Train staff and contractors on fire safety protocols and emergency evacuation procedures.

Workplace Safety & Health (WSHO)
- Develop and implement workplace safety and health management systems in accordance with statutory requirements.
- Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
- Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and recommend preventive measures.
- Organize and conduct safety training, briefings, and awareness programs for all staff.
- Maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, and corrective actions.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with workplace safety and health regulations.
- Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the facility.

General Facility Support
- Collaborate with facility management teams to ensure integration of safety and fire protection in all operations.
- Support emergency response planning and crisis management.
- Prepare reports and documentation for management and regulatory submission.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management, Occupational Safety & Health, or a related discipline.
- Recognized certification as a Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO).
- Senior Fire Safety Manager certification (SFSM) as required by local regulations.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in fire safety and workplace safety management, with prior supervisory or managerial responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of fire protection systems, workplace safety regulations, and emergency response procedures.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
