Job Title: Regional Accountant (Vietnam)

Reporting To: Regional Controller

Contract Type: Fixed-Term (6 months) Cover a staff on medical leave start asap

Salary: $6K

Work hours: 8.30am to 6pm

Job Summary:

Regional Accountant to oversee the Vietnam accounting and finance operations during a team member’s medical leave. This is a contract role based in Singapore, with responsibility for managing the relationship and deliverables of a local outsourced accounting firm in Vietnam. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with local regulations, maintain accurate financial records, and support regional reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations for the Vietnam entity.

• Manage and coordinate with the local outsourced accounting firm to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

• Review monthly financial statements, reconciliations, and tax filings prepared by the outsourced firm.

• Ensure compliance with Vietnamese accounting standards and local tax regulations.

• Support internal and external audits related to the Vietnam entity.

• Collaborate with local Vietnam team to support and furnish financial data.

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for Vietnam operations.

• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support as needed.

• Review and validate monthly employee claim expense reports prepared by outsourced service providers, ensuring compliance with global and local travel and expense policies for Vietnam entity.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally with regional exposure

• Experience managing outsourced accounting providers is a strong advantage.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
