About this role
Looking for a motivated and hands-on equipment engineer to support the setup and ramp of our next-generation semiconductor manufacturing line. In this role, you’ll collaborate across engineering and operations to drive smooth technology transfer from pathfinding and ramp to pilot production. Experience and discipline in process transfer to pilot production line will be critical to a successful and efficient fab ramp-up.
Responsibilities:
Perform on-duty tasks and troubleshoot alarms to maintain equipment performance in the cleanroom for consistent quality production.
Install and qualify new tool sets according to planned schedules in a timely manner.
Improve existing processes and equipment to increase wafer yields and manufacturing productivity.
Set up and optimize process parameters for various semiconductor equipment.
Analyze data to find the root causes of equipment and process issues, then implement effective solutions.
Evaluate, promote, and plan for the introduction of new equipment and materials.
Identify and implement improvements to upgrade equipment capabilities and reduce overall production costs.
Qualifications:
More than 5 years of relevant experiences in semiconductor industry
Strong understanding of semiconductor equipment and industry standards including thin film, etch or lithography
Comfortable working across time zones, collaborating with remote teams, and supporting factory-side execution
Discipline tracking and driving deliverables to completion
Flexibility to travel back and forth between South East Asia and the USA (up to 30% of the time)
