Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and driven Product Manager to lead the development of core trading functionalities within our global mobile trading platform. This role is critical to ensuring the robustness, accuracy, and reliability of our trading experience. You will focus on features such as price feeds, market data integration, trade execution, order types, and portfolio/account management. You’ll work closely with engineering, design, operations, and compliance teams to deliver a seamless and high-performance trading experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the product roadmap for our global trading platform in the area of core trading features, including price feed integration, market data display, trade submission workflows, and order type configurations.
Collaborate with engineering to ensure real-time data accuracy, system reliability, and low-latency trade execution.
Define and optimize user journeys for placing trades, managing portfolios, and viewing account information.
Work with data providers and internal teams to manage and improve market data ingestion and display.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to trading and account management.
Conduct competitive analysis and user research to identify gaps and opportunities in trading functionality and innovation.
Identify user needs and pain points in trading/investing journeys and translate them into feature enhancements or new product offerings.
Prioritize and manage a backlog of features and enhancements focused on trading performance and user trust.
Monitor product KPIs such as trade success rate, latency, and user engagement with trading tools, analyze user feedback, and use data to inform decision-making and prioritize features.
Communicate product updates and roadmap to stakeholders, including executive leadership and client-facing teams.
Lead cross-functional teams including engineering and ux teams through the product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in mobile trading, fintech, and product management.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field
5+ years of experience as a Product Manager. Must have experience having launched features on mobile native apps.
Proven direct experience working on trading or investment platforms is required.
Strong domain understanding of Equities trading, including market data, price feeds, order types (e.g., market, limit, stop), and trade lifecycle.
Strong understanding of mobile development processes and mobile UX best practices. Good aptitude for understanding technical concepts and managing technical complexity is preferred.
Familiarity with FIX protocol, order management systems, or other trading infrastructure is a plus.
Excellent analytical skills and experience using data to drive product decisions.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align teams around product goals and roadmap as well as the ability to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with product management and analytics tools (e.g., JIRA, Roadmunk, Google Analytics, Tableau, MoEngage).
Fast learner, diligent and open to learning new things and accumulate domain knowledge over time.
Passion for fintech but also on building delightful customer-facing products and experiences
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, agile environment.
