Responsibilities:
Plan, execute, and oversee detailed project schedules, budgets, and deliverables for precision engineering initiatives.
Partner with NPI, manufacturing, and quality teams to align on project goals and outcomes.
Track progress closely, identifying and resolving technical or logistical challenges promptly.
Provide subject-matter expertise in precision engineering practices such as CNC machining, micro-fabrication, and metrology.
Lead prototype development and assess design manufacturability.
Conduct feasibility analyses and risk assessments for high-precision components and systems.
Enforce strict quality standards and tolerance levels in all precision engineering projects.
Manage validation, testing, and inspection activities for components and assemblies.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, or a related discipline.
3–5 years in program or project engineering within precision engineering or manufacturing.
Practical exposure to CNC machining, CAD/CAM software, and precision measurement tools preferred.
Proficiency in engineering tools such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or AutoCAD is an advantage.
Demonstrated project management experience with tools like MS Project.
Background in managing customer relations in industries like semiconductor, aerospace, medical devices, or analytical life sciences.
